Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you are stating that you have read and agreed to these terms

Basic TOS:

  • Please be clear in what you want so that I have clear direction.
  • References are greatly appreciated and usually necessary for me to complete a commission.
  • Full payment is expected within 48 hours.
  • I will send an invoice through Paypal – do not send me money.
  • If the commissioner requests a refund, this will be granted based on how much of the commission is already complete.
  • Progress will be shown to the commissioner as it is happening so that revisions can be made. Changes made after the sketch phase may be charged for.
  • Expect your commission to be complete in a month or less. If it takes longer, feel free to get in contact and ask for a refund.
  • Do not claim my artwork as your own.
  • If you repost my work, please credit and link to me in some way.
  • I retain commercial rights for any work if you do not purchase them.
  • I will not take on a commission that I do not feel I can deliver on fully, please do not take offense.
  • I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • By ordering any NSFW/18+ work, you are agreeing that you are 18+.

Expanded TOS:

Section I: General Terms

  1. All pieces will come with a non-removable signature. Pieces posted publicly by me will be watermarked, but the client can decide whether to post the watermarked or unwatermarked version at their discretion.
  2. Prices are subject to change.
  3. I reserve the right to reject any commission request for any reason.

Section II: Payment

  1. Payment is taken in USD.
  2. I will send an invoice to you via PayPal. This is for convenience, as well as to protect the client and myself. If money is sent to me by any other means, I will consider it a gift/tip.
  3. I expect payment within 48 hours of sending the invoice. I will not begin a commission before payment is received. Your slot may be reopened if payment is not received within 72 hours. Please let me know when payment has been sent so that I may confirm.
  4. I generally expect full payment up front, but the client may request 50% up front and 50% upon completion. I will not release the full piece until payment is received in full.
  5. If a refund is requested, the client will receive money back based on how much of the commission was completed. This is solely based on my discretion. Ex. if only the sketch was completed, you would receive 90% back, while if the lines and flat colors are finished, you would only receive 10-20% (depending on whether the original commission included more complexities).
  6. If I cancel the commission under any circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

Section III: Image Copyright

  1. I, the artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the artwork unless these rights are purchased by the client. The client may not claim the work as their own or use it in a commercial manner without purchasing commercial rights. Commercial rights can be purchased for 300% of the original commission price and it must be agreed to before the commission is complete. This said, I will not use your artwork for commercial purposes unless it is agreed to beforehand.
  2. I may use commissioned art to promote myself. If you request a private commission, there will be a 20% fee for potential lost advertising. Private commissions (works that I will not post publicly) must be agreed to before the commission is begun.
  3. The client may repost the artwork with credit to myself and a link to my page. Reposting without credit is considered theft.
  4. DO NOT alter my work in any way. Exceptions include cropping or resizing the image.

Section IV: Process, Communication, and Delivery

  1. Please have a visual reference to provide. I may also request references for any specific poses that are desired. If you do not have a visual reference, I may charge more for the extra time it will take to bring your character to life.
  2. I will update you as I work on your commission. This is to make sure you’re happy with the route I’m going as well as to let you know that I am working on the commission.
  3. I will keep in contact through email or Discord (Ryos#6088). This is up to the client’s preference.
  4. If the client fails to keep contact, the commission may be put on hold. No refunds will be issued until the client explicitly requests it.
  5. The number of free revisions you will receive depends on the complexity of the work. This is only for revisions needed after the sketch phase and whether or not you will be charged for a revision is based on my discretion with the size/complexity of the revision taken into account.
  6. The commission should be completed in a month or less. If extenuating circumstances arise, I will notify the client immediately.
  7. The piece will be delivered as a high-res, unwatermarked image. If you wish to have the image printed, you can make arrangements with me or have it printed yourself.

Section V: Will/Won’t Draw

  1. This is a general guideline. Keep in mind that I am more comfortable with animals and anthro characters, but I will attempt most things. If you have any questions about anything on the list, please ask. Contact me for a more detailed list for NSFW/18+ commissions.
  2. WILL DRAW
    • Animals (pets or non-morphic characters)
    • Anthropomorphic (furry) characters
    • Monsters
    • Humans
    • Gore
    • NSFW (more in-depth list can be provided)
  3. WON’T DRAW
    • Characters intended to be or appearing underage in any sexual or suggestive context
    • Mechs/robots
    • Hateful content

If any of these terms are broken, I reserve the right to cancel your commission and blacklist you from ever commissioning me again.
